Abstracta Softline 30 Desk Screens
The Abstracta Softline 30 desk screen is a slim acoustic panel that mounts directly to your desk, absorbing noise and adding visual privacy between workstations. Its gently rounded corners and clean upholstered finish sit comfortably in almost any interior, from open-plan offices and co-working spaces to home studies.
Each screen is built on a solid wooden frame with a sound-absorbing core, wrapped in acoustic fabric on both sides. It reduces echo and the crosstalk that travels between facing or adjacent desks, helping people concentrate without the cost or permanence of building partitions.
This is a complete set, supplied with clamp fittings that attach to the desk edge and need no tools. Screens can be moved or reconfigured as desk layouts change, and the range extends from 600 mm to 2000 mm wide, so you can match almost any desk.

FAQs
Will the Softline 30 block sound completely?
Will the Softline 30 block sound completely?
No, and no freestanding screen will. Softline works by absorbing sound rather than blocking it, reducing echo and the spread of chatter around desks and seating areas. It's ideal for making open spaces feel calmer and more focused, but it won't create a sealed, private room.
Is it easy to set up?
Is it easy to set up?
Yes. The screen arrives as a complete set with black legs, and assembly needs no tools. Most people have it standing within a few minutes.
How tall is the screen with the legs fitted?
How tall is the screen with the legs fitted?
The legs raise the screen 50 mm off the floor, so the overall heights are 1410 mm, 1550 mm and 1750 mm, depending on the size you choose.
Which height should I choose?
Which height should I choose?
As a rough guide, 1360 mm works well for seated privacy between desks, while 1500 mm and 1700 mm give more screening for standing areas or for creating separate zones within a room.
Can I connect several screens together?
Can I connect several screens together?
Yes. Softline screens can be combined to form longer partitions or enclosed areas, and rearranged as your layout changes.
Why choose 30 mm rather than a thicker screen?
Why choose 30 mm rather than a thicker screen?
The 30 mm version has a slimmer, lighter look that suits spaces where you want the screen to feel less imposing. Thicker screens absorb a little more sound, but for most office and home settings the 30 mm offers a good balance of performance and style.
Are the colours on screen accurate?
Are the colours on screen accurate?
We've shown the colours as accurately as possible, but screens vary, so the actual fabric may look slightly different. If colour matching is important, get in touch before ordering.
