Acoustic Installation Services

Full survey, design and installation by Resonics — Sonio's sister company

Sonio is the easiest way to buy high-quality acoustic panels online — but some projects need more than just products. For surveys, acoustic design and professional installation, our sister company Resonics handles the full service.

With nearly 20 years' experience and over 5,000 acoustic installations completed across the UK, Resonics is the UK's leading acoustic treatment company. From offices and schools to restaurants, theatres and industrial spaces, they deliver end-to-end acoustic solutions — survey, design, supply and install.

When you need more than just panels

Sonio works perfectly when you know what products you need and can manage the installation yourself. But there are situations where a full service makes more sense:

  • You don't know what the problem is yet. A room sounds bad — too echoey, voices carry, meetings are hard to follow — but you're not sure what's causing it or how to fix it. An acoustic survey identifies the issue and recommends the right solution.
  • The space is large or complex. Open-plan offices, restaurants, sports halls, churches and auditoriums often have multiple acoustic challenges. Treating them properly takes design expertise, not just products on walls.
  • There are performance targets to meet. Building regs, BREEAM, WELL standards, or specific reverberation time targets all require measured, evidenced acoustic outcomes — not guesswork.
  • You need access equipment or specialist installers. High ceilings, complex fixings, sensitive interiors or commercial sites need trained installers with the right equipment and insurance.
  • You're on a build programme. Working alongside main contractors, M&E teams and interior designers to a fixed schedule needs an experienced project team.

If any of those apply, Resonics is built exactly for that work.

If you're somewhere in between — for example, you've identified the products but want professional installation — Resonics can quote installation only, using products supplied via Sonio. Get in touch with either side and we'll point you the right way.

About Resonics and Sonio

Resonics and Sonio are part of the same group, based in Deptford, London. Resonics is the UK's first dedicated acoustic installation company, founded over a decade ago and now the UK's leading acoustics specialist. Sonio was launched to make the same range of high-quality acoustic products available to buy online for projects that don't require a full installation service. Both companies work with the same trusted manufacturers, the same in-house expertise, and the same standards of acoustic performance.
